Sort of a "duv43" G41 Rifle

This rifle was in a fire some 30 years ago and then left to rust in a garage. Cleaned up more recently but it would never be safe to fire again

Some non critical parts could probably be salvaged and cleaned up and reblued for other guns, such as the bands, bayonet lug, triggerguard and maybe, maybe the op rod?

Non-shooter statement required! Maybe safely salvage some parts, or make what the Europeans call a "Deko" rifle?

Sold

Near-mint Walther ac44 K43 Action

Pretty certain this hasn't even been fired. Looks like it came out of the factory, hasn't been used or oiled since, zero wear on bolt carrier face, nor in chamber phosphate; rest late-war phosphate and mixed blue parts. Essentially new.

Still in original grease in places, bore mint, couple of areas of patina under the bolt, here and there, a few paint flecks, and handling marks only. Includes matched bolt, bolt carrier, FP, and FP carrier. Sadly, no lugs or action cover/parts.

Suspect this was a factory pick up that was not quite finish assembled. Vet either left parts on assembly line, or?? This is the way we received it! Neat.

Most of an Authentic WWII German duv43 G41 Rifle

It's a project. The good: appears functional, most parts match to include the lugs, firing pin carrier, bolt carrier, probably the bolt. Has desireable straddle mount rails for sniper configuration. And, it's cheap.

The bad: missing op rod, trigger, stock, stock hardware, FP/FP extension, triggerguard and mag. Action cover and muzzle cone mismatch. Interior bolt group heavy patina/splotches. Sides present well, lots of areas will need TLC, maybe reblue.

See pics for condition. Bore FR-GD but will clean up better. Action tight. With some effort this will make a pretty nice shooter or reenactor gun! Will need FFL or C&R.
